DivX Player is a media player that enables users to watch movies, video clips, and television shows online and offline. This application has support for popular high-quality video formats such as MKV, AVI, MP4, and DIVX. It can also play the DivX HEVC video format. This player comes with a built-in media server so users can stream HD media from the Internet to any DLNA-compatible device such as the line of Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets, as well as gaming consoles such as the XBOX and the Sony Playstation 3.
DivX Player comes with other DivX plug-ins, including the DivX Web Player and the DivX Converter. The Web Player is a plug-in that makes it possible for users to stream HD video in the browser. DivX Converter enables users to convert video files into formats compatible with DivX, namely MKV, AVI, and DIVX. Users may also install the DivX Player Codec Pack. This tool enables users to create and play DivX videos using third-party video editing applications and players.
