GOM Encoder

GOM Encoder is a video encoder program used for encoding different video formats to supported output formats such as MP4, AVI, FLV, WMV, and OGM. It features batch conversion processing, which allows multiple conversion at once. Options to configure the output destination, settings and formats are also available. The program will display the elapsed time and remaining time while processing video files. It also shows the conversion speed. Setting the program to copy or move the output file to a particular directory or minimize it to tray or shutdown the PC after the process is also possible.

GOM Encoder offers different video codec found in the output settings. This includes bitrate, video quality, codec name, resize filter and keyframe interval. Configuring audio codec (format and codec name) as well as video can also be done. As for audio files, settings to configure sample rate frequency are available as well. There is also a subtitle setting used for configuring the subtitle’s color, font, and position. The program can also be used to add a logo to the converted video file. Setting the video’s start point and end point, size, position and transparency level is also possible. The application can be used for merging videos. It also features the Screencap tool as well as the Snapshot Preview. Audio can also be extracted from a video file using this application.
