Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile

Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile is a hidden object mystery game that is based on the novel with the same name. The game was initially released in 2008. Players act as a Belgian detective named Hercule Poirot to solve the murder of a rich newlywed who was killed while sailing in a cruise ship on the Nile River. There are 14 suspects in the ship that must be eliminated one by one to get to the culprit.

There are 26 rooms to explore in the ship. A list of items to find will be given at the start of each level. The items included in the list consist of clues to help determine the killer. As the player finds more clues, new questions for the suspects are unlocked, and these clues can also help eliminate suspects from the list. There are 12 investigations that Poirot must successfully perform in order to solve the mystery.

Apart from the hidden object game, Death on the Nile also has other games in the form of puzzles. Solving these puzzles will also help in capturing the murderer. The game is set in the 20th century and the rooms are decorated in period pieces that enhance the gameplay.
