Video Splitter

SplitMovie is a program used to split video files. This program enables users to split video files of various formats, such as AVI, ASF, MPG, WMV, 3GP, MP4, MOV, and DVD VOB. Users can utilize SplitMovie to divide video files into any number of segments. Users can extract their favorite scene of a movie or video, get a clip of trailers from a movie file, or remove ads included in some commercial movie copies. This program is useful from getting movie and video clips to be used in projects, making video montages, video editing, or simply in splitting movies for portability purposes. SplitMovie contains features that allow users to split video files automatically or manually. The program’s automatic splitter allows users to split video files in equal segments, and according to size, length, or number of segments.

SplitMovie features a simple user interface that contains two control areas. The right side of the window contains options that allow users to choose between manual and automatic video splitting, set an output directory folder, and select an output format. The left side of the program window contains the video screen, playback buttons (play, pause, stop, rewind, fast forward, skip), and markers used to set split points in the video file.
