Burn4Free DVD Burning is a program that enables users to write or “burn” various files into an optical disc such as a CD, DVD, or Blu-ray. This program is used to copy audio, video, and data files into optical discs. Burn4Free DVD Burning supports any file format for optical disc writing. Users can burn audio files such as WAV, WMA, MP3, MP2, MP1, OGG, and CDA. Burn4Free DVD Burning also supports various disc formats such as CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, as well as DVD-RAM drives like SCSA-IDE or EIDE-USB. With this program, users can create disc backups of their files, or create direct play audio or video discs. Burn4Free DVD Burning features a Fly Window feature that enables users to drag-and-drop their files from the source folder directly into the program’s burn list. Users can initiate the burning process by clicking the “Burn” button. After the program has finished writing the data in the optical disc, it will notify users by means of a dialog box, or by ejecting the burned optical disc.
Burn4Free DVD Burning features a simple interface that has three main parts. The first part is the main control bar located on the upper portion of the program window. This section contains buttons such as the burn button, erase files from rewritable optical discs, create new disc, fly window, add, eject disc, load disc, delete selected file, rename file, paste, and preferences. This section also contains features that allow users to set a name for the disc, and choose a burning hardware and burning speed. The next part is the file list located on the center portion of the program window. This section displays a list of file to be written in an optical disc. The list shows the file name, file path, file size/duration, and file type. The final part is the log and ad section. The Log displays information regarding the burning process while the ad section displays download links for other products endorsed by the program.
