HP MediaSmart Photo

HP MediaSmart Photo is an application for viewing and managing digital photos. The program was first released in 2010 and supports several HP notebook models. Photos that are taken with the HP MediaSmart Webcam are automatically added to the HP MediaSmart Photo Library. Too add photos to the program, click on the Import tab on the main screen. Pictures can be added from a folder in the computer or from a connected device.

Aside from viewing photos, users can also do some basic editing tasks with the program. Some of the editing tasks that can be done with the program are rotate left or right, resize the image, add effects, and tag the faces of people included in the photo. HP MediaSmart Photo allows users to view the photos in different ways. Images can be sorted by date, by name, or by size. Additionally, users can view photos with specific tags to easily find a photo from a large image library.

HP MediaSmart Photo comes with creation tools. These tools enable users to create a desktop wallpaper, a screensaver, a photo movie or slideshow, and a disc. Images can be printed from the application, too. All the photos included in the application’s library can be shared to Facebook or Flickr accounts within the program.
