Smart Driver Updater is a program that scans the computer for all the outdated drivers. The application scans the entire system in just a few minutes. The application’s database consists of more than 200,000 drivers. The database is constantly being updated by developers to make sure that the latest drivers are always available to users. Smart Driver also has a backup and restore feature. This can be useful when upgrading the operating system. The application can save a backup of all the computer’s drivers so that it can be re-installed once the operating system has been upgraded.

The program’s main window consists of four tabs – Scan, Backup Drivers, Download History, and Settings. Under the Scan tab, users can view the status of the drivers. The ‘Start Scan’ button can also be viewed on this tab. The status window shows the date of the last scan, total number of drivers scanned, and the number of outdated drivers. The Backup Drivers is where users can manage all the backups and restore the drivers. The Download History tab shows all the drivers that were installed in the system from the application.

Smart Driver is capable of looking for drivers for audio and sound, video, printers and scanners, digital cameras, network drivers, webcams, keyboards, and many more.
