Acronis Online Backup

Acronis Online Backup is a backup and disk imaging program. The program is useful for backing up data online in the event that that computer crashes or gets stolen. When the files are kept online, they can be accessed from anywhere using any computer. This program works together with the Acronis True Image Home. It is capable of retrieving all the contents of a computer, including the operating system. To backup computer files, just choose the folders to save and set the schedule time for backup. Once the application is installed on a computer, it is integrated on Windows so that users can right click on a file and choose ‘Include in Online Backup’ from the drop down menu. The program is capable of backing up five computers or laptops with a single account.

Retrieving files can be done in two ways. The first is through a web interface and the second from the application itself. Acronis Online Backup provides 250 Gb of online space for photos, music, documents, and other important files. It uses government-approved encryption to ensure the safety of all the backed up files. The program runs quietly in the background and does not clog up the system’s resources.
