Registry Booster

Registry Booster is a registry cleaner and computer maintenance application. The program scans the system for registry errors and fixes them in order to increase the computer’s performance. It is capable of scanning obsolete files, corrupted files, and some malicious content. The application can be used by novice computer users, since all it takes to do the checkup and removal of junk files is the click of a button.

There are four tabs on the program window – Overview, Registry Scan, Restore, and Settings. The Registry Scan window shows the number of registry errors found during the last scan, the damage level, and the scan settings. Click on the ‘Start scan’ button to initialize the cleaning of the system. Once the program is done scanning the system, the results will be shown. The scan results show the Registry section, the number of errors, and the damage level. There is an option to fix the error found on the system to optimize the computer’s performance. Technical users have the option to change the settings and make their own ‘Ignore List’ of the items that are not a threat.

Registry Booster keeps a log of the changes done to the computer. This serves as a backup file so that the system can be restored if something goes wrong during the cleaning process.
