Sonic MyDVD

Sonic MyDVD is a multimedia disc creator developed by Sonic Solutions and released in 2006. Sonic MyDVD supports VCD, DVD and various other disk media. This software allows users to video discs using content from their digital and web cameras, or from files on their drives.

Sonic MyDVD user interface consists of a single display window with buttons at the top panel. Clicking the Create Project button opens the window, which allows users to choose whether to burn a DVD or a VCD. Users may also customize the label for the disc media at this point. To add video files, users may choose the Capture Video option, which launches the web camera or digital camera, connected. Sonic MyDVD also has a Get Recorded TV Shows option, which allows users to add previously recorded TV shows.

Sonic MyDVD may also be used to create Slideshow Projects. To add files to a slideshow project, User may choose to add files from a local folder or the Capture Pictures option, which also opens the web camera application. Using the Edit Styles option, users may choose to add music and sounds to their video or slideshow projects. Users may also change the background color, button styles, graphics, and text format for the video project. When done editing, clicking the Burn button will commence the recording process.
