WinDVD is a multimedia player that was initially released in 1998. The program is capable of playing audio and video files in the most popular formats. The player has all the controls needed on a menu that pops up when the mouse pointer is moved. Options such as Play, Rewind, Fast Forward, Pause, and others are seen on the Menu. Users are also able to make their own movie playlist for continuous movie viewing. Other features when watching a movie with the program include the following:

WinDVD supports audio and video formats such as DVD-Video, MPEG-2, WAV, MP3, and WMV HD.
