Ashampoo Registry Cleaner 1.0

Ashampoo Registry Cleaner is used for getting rid of unnecessary items and errors in the Windows registry. It is capable of detecting and removing double entries, faulty links, and broken entries. The application makes use of an advanced search algorithm that is able to scan the system effectively.

The main interface of the application is straightforward. All the parts of the system that it can scan are located at the left pane of the main window. Some of the items included are shared files, software, history lists, fonts, ActiveX components, etc. When an area is chosen, all the items found are listed on the main part of the screen. More information about the item can be seen at the bottom part of the window when it is selected from the list. The errors found can be removed from the computer with just one click. There are command buttons at the top portion of the window (Delete, Search, Select All, and Select None).

Ashampoo Registry Cleaner is also capable of creating a backup of the registry. The backup file can be helpful in restoring the registry when an error occurs after making changes. The program can also generate a report of all the items that were found in the computer.
