The Sims 2 EP8

The Sims 2: Apartment Life is the eighth expansion pack for the life simulation game The Sims 2. The expansion pack was released in 2008. It features a new neighborhood called Balladonna Cove. The neighborhood consists of apartment complexes and townhouses. There are also community lots included in the neighborhood, such as a library, coffee shops, a grocery store, and public parks. The expansion pack also features new gameplay and characters. Sims can now become witches or warlocks. These new character have cauldrons and brooms. They can also cast different kinds of spells by mixing potions using different ingredients like Mystic Dust, Vipers Essence, Dragon Scales, and Crystallized Moonbeams. New Sim interactions are added, too. Some of these include Kiss Kiss Darling, High Five, Tough Handshake, and Earthly Hug.

The Sims 2: Apartment Life also features new objects, such as a jungle gym, open mic stand, trash chute, apartment mailboxes, large fish tank, and a vending machine among others. Other additions to the game are the following:

• NPCs (Non-Playable Characters) – butler, landlord, roommates, and apartment neighbors
• Life Skills – anger management, lifelong happiness, fire prevention, couple counseling
• Social Groups – artsy bohemians, edgy gearheads, stylish socialites, sports jocks
• Build Mode Tools – ceiling, advanced wall decoration, measuring tape tool
