Guitar Hero III

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is a rhythm game that was first released in 2007. It is the third installment and the fourth title in the Guitar Hero series of games. In the game, players use a guitar controller to play notes that are scrolling on the screen. The notes must be played in time with the music to achieve maximum points. Legends of Rock is the first game in the series to feature multiplayer mode. It features more than 70 classic rock songs from artists, such as Sex Pistols, Santana, The Smashing Pumpkins, ZZ Top, Metallica, The Rolling Stones, and many more. Players have the chance to choose one of the thirteen characters to control. Some of the characters from previous Guitar Hero games are Izzy Sparks, Xavier Stone, Johnny Napalm, and Axel Steel. The game feature 16 different venues, eight for solo gigs, and eight for co-op gigs.

One of the new additions to the game is Battle Mode. This multiplayer mode allows users to choose a difficulty and battle against other players. Players have a rock meter they need to fill up. The goal is to beat the other player by staying in the game longer. The player whose rock meter turns red first loses the game.
