Disketch is a disc labeler that allows users to create labels, inlets, and covers for CDs and DVDs. The program has a drag and drop feature that can be used for arranging the objects included in the label/cover. Users can also use personal photos and other images to create labels. The program is designed for beginners and advanced computer users. To start creating a disc label, choose the label type (for CD or for DVD) and add texts and images.
Disketch comes with templates for front and back covers, booklets, and labels for CD and DVD cases. Majority of the space on the main window is dedicated to the layout of the label. The upper portion consists of command buttons, such as New, Open, Save, Add Text, Add Images, and Add Details. There is also a Print and a Settings button. The right hand pane of the main window shows the Label Layout Properties. Before printing, users can manually adjust the layout of the label or disc cover on the page for more accurate printing results. The labels can be printed out on sticker labels or on the disc itself.
Here are the other features of the application:
• Import photos from a digital camera for a personalized label
• Easy to use interface
• Change the background color of the disc
• Easy reformatting, aligning, and resizing of text
• Different kinds of text styles
