Free DVD Creator is a tool used for converting and burning DVD files from videos on the computer. It supports all popular video file formats including AVI, DivX, MPEG, MP4, MOV, and WMV. The application has a simple design and even novice computer users will be able to use the application. Upon launching the program, users are given two choices – Create Video DVD or Video DVD Burner. There is also a tutorial button so that users can see the step by step instructions on how to use the application.
Free DVD Creator has a simple interface. To add files to burn, click on the ‘Add’ button on the main interface. There are also other command buttons, such as Remove, Move Up, Move Down, and Play. The total time for all the files on the queue can be seen at the top portion of the window. The Video Settings panel can be found at the bottom part of the main window. Users can choose the video standard (NTSC or PAL), video resolution (low, medium, or high), and aspect ratio (wide screen or full screen). Additionally, there are options, such as adding a letter box, inserting chapters, and creating a DVD menu.
