Ashampoo GetBack Photo 1.0.1

Ashampoo GetBack Photo is an application for retrieving photos that were deleted from the computer. It can get back photos from the computer as well as from different kinds of storage devices. The program does not only get back photos that are accidentally deleted, it also retrieves photos from damaged devices and hard drives that have been formatted. Additionally, it can get back photos that are embedded on Word and PDF documents.

The program’s main window is simple. Upon launching, the interface displays a list of the devices connected to the computer. Choose a device from the drop down list and click on the ‘Search Photos!’ button. After clicking the button, the window shows the scan progress. This may take a few minutes depending on the size of the device. The results from the scan will be shown in the ‘Rescued Photos’ window. The window displays all of the photos that were found and users can choose ‘Select All’ at the bottom part of the window or manually select photos from the thumbnails. Users can also view information about each photo, such as the image size and the date when it was created.
