The Sims Life Stories is a life simulation game program developed by EA Games. It is the first installment in The Sims Stories game series. It was initially released on February 6, 2007. This video game is especially developed for laptops. It utilizes the same gameplay mechanics and game engine used in The Sims 2 game. Aside from the Open-Ended Classic mode, The Sims Life Stories also has a Story Mode with two predefined stories. In each of the predefined story, the player can choose to play one of the two protagonists. The player is required to complete different goals for the chosen player.
In the Story mode, the game starts with the life story of Riley Harlow when she decided to start a new life by moving from SimCity to Four Corners and live with her Aunt Sharon. The second story is about Vincent Moore’s life. He is a millionaire who only goal is to find his one true love. After completing the two stories, the player can continue the gameplay in the Open-Ended Classic mode. This mode is similar to the gameplay of The Sims 2, wherein the player creates a Sim character and then chooses how the character lives his life. When playing in the Open-Ended Classic mode, the player can choose to live in one of the three available neighborhoods. These are the two neighborhoods where Vince and Riley live and one free-play neighborhood.
