SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate

SWAT 4 - The Stetchkov Syndicate is the official expansion for the SWAT 4 FPS video game. It was released on February 28, 2006. This expansion features seven additional missions centered on the Stetchkov family. The Stetchkov is an Eastern European criminal family responsible for smuggling illegal weapons and drugs in the city. In the game, the player assumes the role of the Fairview SWAT Team’s element leader. The goal of the game is to complete several missions until eventually stopping the Stetchkov family from terrorizing the city.

Like the original game, The Stetchkov Syndicate features single player and multiplayer game modes. The single player campaign mode takes place in Fairview City, New England. The player leads four-man SWAT squad members and an additional sniper in completing the missions. The game follows the same police procedures used in real life providing realistic environment throughout the game. Players can utilize different types of lethal and secondary weapons. However, killing criminals during an operation violates the SWAT’s police procedures.

Aside from the seven additional maps, this expansion also offers different multiplayer and single player features including equipment and weaponry. Punching disobliging characters is also possible. There is also a command that enables the team to exit a room from two different paths simultaneously. The game’s multiplayer mode now includes the capture the flag game type. Up to 10 players can play cooperative game.
