Sizer is an application used for resizing windows on the desktop. It can also be used by designers to see how projects will look like on different sizes of windows. The program places a cross-arrow icon on the system tray. The program should be active on the computer before resizing can be done. To use the application, move the mouse pointer over one of the edges of the window. A resizing cursor will be displayed. Right click on the edge to choose from the sizes available on the pop-up menu that appears (640 x 480, 800 x 600, and 1024 x 768). New sizes can also be added to the menu.
Sizer is also integrated to the system menu of windows. This can be brought up by clicking the right mouse button on the title bar or by clicking the window’s icon. Choose the ‘Resize/reposition’ option from the pop-up menu. Additionally, resizing windows can be done by right clicking on the program’s icon located on the system tray. One of the features of the application is the tooltip that displays the exact size of the window as it is being resized. Size can be configured by selecting ‘Configure Sizer’ from the pop-up menu.
