Total Commander PowerPack is a file management software suite released by Adam Bukowinski on August 2007. This software suite includes the original Total Commander software with a host of additional features. It features additional tools like history preview and expanded notepad tool. The software suite also comes with more than 60 pre-configured plug-ins.
The Total Commander PowerPack software suite also features an extended main menu as well as a modified main button bar. The expanded main menu includes Tabs which enables tab management, and System which enables users to quick launch Windows, My Computer, networks, printers, and fonts. The Extended Configuration menu enables users to customize configuration options. The expanded toolbar provides more tools including quick view, comments, search, CD Tree, multi-rename tool, and synchronize dirs. This software suite also comes with custom fields and pre-defined search patterns. It also features predefined mark templates as well as predefined color file name templates.
Total Commander PowerPack features a dual window user interface. The Menu bar sits at the top followed by the Tools panel. The left hand window shows the directory path for the selected folder. The right hand window features the contents of the selected folder. Both windows show the file and folder name, as well as the file size and last modified date. The bottom bar shows function buttons for View, Edit, Copy, Move, New Folder, and Delete.
