Age of Empires II Expansion

Age of Empire II: The Conquerors Expansion or AoC is the expansion pack for the real-time strategy game Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings. The expansion game was released in 2000. The expansion pack features five new civilizations (Huns, Korean, Aztecs, Spanish, and Mayans). There’s also new game modes added. These are Wonder Race, King of the Hill, and Defend the Wonder. Other additions to the game are maps, infantry features, and more upgrades for units.

The Conquerors Expansion features four more campaigns for the game. These campaigns can be played in single player mode. The three campaigns are based on historical events (Attila the Hun, El Cid, and Montezuma), while the fourth campaign is a selection of different historical scenarios, such as the Battle of Lepanto, Battle of Tours, and many more.

Some of the new units included in the expansion pack include the following:
Tarkhan – anti-building cavalry for the Huns
Turtle Ship – Korean heavily-armored and ranged cavalry
Conquistador – Spanish mounted gunpowder unit
Jaguar Warrior – Aztec’s infantry
Missionary – Spanish swift-mounted monk

The Conquerors Expansion also features additional technologies that can be purchased. These technologies provide additional bonuses, such as increased speed, +20 hit points, better accuracy, faster healing time, and many more.
