PCDJ Red Mobile 2 is a program designed for users who like to do work as professional DJs (disk jockeying) and music entertainers. The program allows users to import, mix, and search music files such as MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, FLAC, and MP3+G unprotected iTunes files. The user can record music mixes to MP3, WAV or AIFF. It has Midi-Learn for mapping DJ midi controllers which makes use of the PC’s keyboard, including vinyl (sound) simulation, (scratch, pitch, reverse play) and a variety of effects (echo, flanger, delay, reverb, autopan, phaser, beat waw) to choose from. It has an automatic BPM detection feature and can do seamless looping and beat-skip.
PCDJ Red Mobile 2 allows the user to choose between manual and a fully automated mix and tweak various features like one-click beat synch, synch start, and a mix-now button for quick cross-fades and play. The program has an unlimited list browsing system, database, and supports iTunes library imports. It loads songs in RAM for quick access and playback.
The program now affords the user the capability of doing karaoke show hosting with its capacity to playback MP3+G karaoke files, complete with display of song lyrics on an external video monitor (TV screen). The program is equipped with library filters for karaoke and regular audio files.
