It has a multitude of improvements from its previous sequel and a barrage of customization options for its players.
The player can choose up to 6 event types and 40 tracks in the game. Motocross Madness 2 has six distinct kinds of racing modes - Baja, Enduro, Stunts, Supercross, Nationals and Pro-Circuit. Each mode corresponds to a certain type of race environment such as an open wilderness or an urban or rural map. Players can create terrains, and customize their respective bikes and players. Players can also choose the number of opponents they want, ranging from 1 to 10 maximum. The difficulty level can also be chosen ranging from easy to hard. Toggle vegetation collision and game mode settings may also be specified. Graphics have also been enhanced, resulting to textures that are more realistic and over 50,000 3d objects in the game. More landscape features have been added such as caravans, trees, and road signs. The game also has its own soundtrack, and sound effects include radios from nearby caravans and screams of pain from falling bikers.
