Pro Evolution Soccer 4 is a football game that is the fourth installment of the Pro Evolution soccer series. It is the initial game in the series to feature licensed leagues specifically the Dutch, Italian, and Spanish divisions. A recent 6-star difficulty is implemented and player abilities are raised as they win games in Master League.
Most aspects of the game have been edited, such as players’ way of moving and controlling the ball across the field. Player statistics now determine how players perform when the ball is under their control. An upgraded control system also allows for enhanced control as players dribble past defenders. Players can choose from 138 master league teams, and more than two hundred national and club teams. User customizations are applied to player and league names, trophies and elements in master league players’ development and retirement. For instance, players over the age of thirty experience a decline in capabilities as games follow through. Referees seen on pitch and an animated linesman when a player has been given offside have also been incorporated into the game. Many aspects of player customization are available in this game. For instance, a user can specify the logos and texts used in a player’s shirt. Playing also becomes more realistic by the visibility of dirt, and wear and tear as games progress.
