Recovery Keys is a Windows recovering utility developed by Recover Keys Software. It is developed to obtain lost activation keys for all software installed in a remote or local network computer. The program works by backing up software activation keys. It then analyzes the system for all the keys and provides users with an option to back them up, print them, or export the license information. The program offers support for more than 3,600 software products. The Export function supports HTML, Word, Excel, XML, PDF, and CSV files.
The program’s interface is intuitive. Once it launches, it automatically asks the user to choose from the available types of scan. There are four types of scans. It can scan the local computer, network computer, and another Windows OS. There is also the Advanced scan mode, which offers more scanning options including Smart Scan, Shotgun-mode Scan, Scan Adobe cache.db, Scan .reg files, and Scan Registry Hive. After scanning, the program lists down all the detected software with license keys. The list shows the software name, type of license, and the license key. The user then has the option to either store the license keys or print it. The user can store the licenses to any of the supported export file format. The print function also offers a preview print feature, which enables users to edit the look of the license file.
