ACDSee is a photo manager and editor that can be used by novice and advanced computer users. The application provides a set of editing tools that include red-eye reduction, color intensity options, and photo repair tools like Heal and Clone. Selective editing can be done so that users can make small changes to a specific part of the photo. With this tool, users can change colors, correct the exposure, and change details on the photo without changing the entire image.
More features of the program include:
Over 20 special effects (collage, Lomo, Orton, etc.)
Lighting tool with patented LCE (Lighting and Contrast Enhancement) technology
Organize photos with colored labels
Organize by location (for GPS enabled cameras)
Backup files on ACDSee online
ACDSee has a metadata panel for photo organization and searching. Users can select data to be displayed with the photos. The integrated Quick Search bar also helps users to find a specific photo by entering key words. All the photos associated with the key word will then be displayed.
Photo albums on ACDSee can be shared on social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter. Users can also email photos with just a few clicks. The Email Wizard automatically converts and resizes photos before sending them.
