Imagicon is a software that is used to convert images with JPG, PNG, and BMP (24 bit) image formats into Windows Icon (ICO), Independent JPEG Group (JPG), Portable Network Graphics (PNG), and OS/2 or Windows Bitmap (BMP) files. Program features include options to add image alpha icon transparency and transform images.
Program instructions provide information on every program setting and function and what they execute. The program interface is represented by a small window where one may add images by the drag and drop feature or via the file browser. The program interface window may be customized by applying different kinds of design patterns. Images may be organized easily and quickly processed with the program’s drag and drop feature. Image icons may be selected and saved in large and small dimensions of like 128 x 64 x 128, 48 x 48, 64, 32 x 32, and 6 x 16 pixels. On the Options menu output quality and format may be selected and one can designate saved file names. The output path which is a source or custom image folder, may also be specified and its settings may be set to default. Program background color may be changed and other image effects include bi-linear filtering and constraining proportions. Imagicon requires 2MB of computer hard disk space and 64MB of RAM to operate.
