Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas or GTA San Andreas is a racing adventure video game that was first released in 2004. It is the eighth title in the Grand Theft Auto series of games. The game is set in San Andreas, a fictional town with three cities. Players control the character of Carl ‘CJ’ Johnson who goes back to his hometown after his mother’s murder. The game can be played in a non-linear manner, but there are also storyline missions that must be completed in order to progress through the game. More locations are unlocked when missions are completed.

In addition to the main game challenges, there are also side missions that players can complete in order to improve the character’s items or gain money. Aside from races, players can fight in gang wars, and steal vehicles. GTA San Andreas can be played in multiplayer mode. In this mode, players are shown simultaneously on the game screen. They must outrun each other in order to win.
