Discovery 3D Screensaver

Discovery 3D Screensaver is an application which displays three-dimensional screensavers on the users’ desktop. Screensavers are images or graphics which are automatically shown on the screen when the personal computer has not been used for quite some time. Most modern operating system has the capability to assign 2D screensavers. This is done by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting Screensaver settings. This will open a dialog window which will allow users to choose a two (2) dimensional image from My Pictures or other folders.

This application gives users a unique screensaver featuring the chamber of a medieval scholar and explorer. The chamber is designed with the scholar’s old oak table and manuscripts. There is also an image of the globe and a writing material composed of a bird feather used during that time. All these images indicate that the scholar was in the midst of a discovery or an adventure. Discovery 3D Screensaver features the scholar’s chamber with unique artwork and lighting which suits the Middle Ages. The screensaver comes with background music as well. The instrumental music is played as camera views change on the screen. The application settings menu allows users to specify at what point the screensaver will start playing. There is also an option to make volume adjustments on the background music.
