Adobe 3D Reviewer Application

The Adobe 3D Reviewer application is a program that comes bundled with Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended, a management suite for PDF (Portable Document Format) files. The Adobe 3D Reviewer application can be used when working with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files. With this application, users can merge two or more CAD files together, measure the exact geometry of shapes used in the file, move and delete parts, and add animations. Apart from that 3D files opened with the Adobe 3D Viewer application and also be exported to neutral formats or vector 2D files.

The Adobe 3D Reviewer can be opened while working on a 3D project. Users can right click on the 3D model and choose ‘Edit in 3D Reviewer’ from the options. This can only be done if the file is not protected. The program can also be opened outside of Acrobat Pro Extended.
