TwistedBrush Open Studio

TwistedBrush Open Studio is an application used in photo editing, digital painting, and other digital art forms. Over 5,000 kinds of brushes are made available.  Brushstrokes created using the application have qualities of a real paintbrush in terms of density, coverage, and size. Simple controls, as well as an array of options are also provided.

The program’s interface is intuitive and user friendly. A Help file is available to equip users on program features and functions. Tools for shape making, a canvas, and a color palette can all be found in the program.  Creating images is done through the click and drag facility. Layers and transparency can be done using standard layer and one-of-a-kind mixing modes. Work parts can be selected and protected through the use of masks. A Magic Wand facility allows for the creation of masks. A number of image formats can be used with the program and include EMF, PCD, PSD, TGA, PNG, JPEG, GID, TIFF, PCX, BMP,   and WMF. Drawing tablet is also supported along with pressure sensitivity and good precision sampling. Other program features include cloning, scratch layer, dynamic palettes, image views for reference, built-in scanner support, textures, brush shapes, plug-in support for Adobe, patterns, drawing guides, and dirty brushes, among others.
