Visual MP3 Splitter & Joiner

Visual MP3 Splitter & Joiner is an application used for splitting and joining audio tracks whose formats include WAV, APE, CUE, WMA, and MP3.

The program’s interface is user friendly and streamlined. A Help file equipped with snapshots is also provided for computer users of all levels. Audio track import is done via the program’s file browser. The drag and drop facility is not provided. A number of tracks can be processed simultaneously through a batch processing feature.  Song trimming is done by specifying splitting parameters, and the output directory to be used. Splitting parameters can be by silence detection, by parts, or by time. Silence can be inserted between songs. Output directories can be input or custom folders. The program list contains audio information such as path, name, metadata, duration, and end and start times. Track information that can be modified includes track number, artist, genre, album, title, comment, and year. CUE files can be created to burn audio CDs. Audio books can also be organized using the program. Other customizations that can be done with the program include disabling ID3 tags saving, and modifying interface language. Other program features include an integrated player, multilingual interface, splitting without recompression, visual splitting of files, and waveform zoom out and zoom in, among others. Small to moderate quantity of a computer system’s resources is used in running the program.
