3D Video Player is a video player program developed by Ramka and released on March 2013. This video player is especially developed to play 3D videos, as well as convert regular video file formats into 3D anaglyph stereoscopic playback. 2D videos cannot be converted to a 3D file format. Instead, this player enables users to play 2D video with 3D effects. To experience the 3D video effect, users have to wear 3D stereoscopic glasses while watching. This player also plays regular video file formats including AVI, MKV, FLV, WMV, 3GP, MOV, and MP4. It also supports HD video file formats including MTS, M2TS, VOB, and IFO.
The 3D Video Player graphical user interface features a grey window with playback controls located at the bottom of the window. Playback control buttons include Shuffle, Replay, Playlist, Next, Back, and Play. To activate the 3D effect for 3D videos, users may click the 3D button located on the lower right corner of the window. The 3D video effect can also be customized via slider tools which correspond to the 3D depth and 3D shift. 3D depth controls the depth of field to be rendered in 3D while 3D shift controls the level of 3D effect to be applied to the video. The user interface also comes with a volume slider, as well as a mute button.
