Kerio VPN Client is a firewall software that was released in 2010. The software is designed to protect small and medium businesses from different system and network threats. These system/network threats include malwares, viruses, spywares, and Trojans.

Kerio VPN Client enables several connections from individual hosts (clients) to a private network (remote) through the Internet using a secure encrypted channel. These connected clients can safely access private networks for communication, file exchange, and information dissemination. Using the Kerio WinRoute Firewall, the software client allows users to create a secure profile for authentication. After registering to the network, users can log in and connect to the private network. Users can personalize their own profiles in VPN networks. Printers, servers, and shared files from homes can be connected and accessed through the utility tools of the software.  

Using only an IP address or DNS name, users can use the software to connect and create a secure server where a password and username are required. Program configurations can be done through wizard troubleshooting for known issues and problems. Users can also integrate different anti-virus software to scan all VPN traffic in the secure connection. Connections are recovered automatically in case of persistent connections and server crashes.
