TCE, or TrueCombat:Elite is third-person shooter game based on a commercial game, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. The game is set in the modern era, where the main character is a mercenary soldier trapped between two multinational forces that are in conflict. The two forces are "the Global Intervention Force (GIF)" and "the Unit". The GIF is composed of various soldiers from first-world countries such as the United States and Germany. The Unit is an organization composed of ex-GIF soldiers who are now working for money. The game features 2 game types. In "Bodycount", two teams are pitted against each other with the main objective of killing as many enemies as the player can. When the player dies, he re-spawns immediately. In "Objective", one team has to set up and blow a bomb on a specific location. This is done while killing and evading other enemies. The other team has to stop the opponent from planting the bomb. If the bomb has already been planted, their objective is to diffuse it.

TrueCombat:Elite features other mini modes, such as "capture the flag". The game allows players to equip themselves with modern weapons such as the Mac-10 and the Glock 19. The game is primarily built for multiplayer purposes.
