Roxio Easy Audio Capture

Roxio Easy Audio Capture is an audio capturing program developed by Sonic Solutions. It comes with the Roxio Creator software. The program is used for capturing Internet audio. It supports all types of audio sources. The application can be accessed from the Roxio Creator program under the Music/Audio tab. From there, just click on the “Capture Audio from Sound Card” button and the interface of Roxio Easy Audio Capture automatically opens.

The interface of Roxio Easy Audio Capture is straightforward. All the configuration options are available on its single-windowed interface. The program enables users to choose from a list of capture source, which is normally the computer’s sound card. It also offers an option to choose from the available audio source input. The available input varies based on the device. Below the input list are volume meters, which serve as indicators if the chosen input is correct. Users can also set the volume levels for the output audio. There is also an “Auto” checkbox, which enables the program to automatically set the volume level for the output audio.

Roxio Easy Audio Capture can also be used for capturing music. It has a feature to record separate tracks from the audio source allowing it to split the chosen songs into several tracks. An option to capture an audio in a single file is possible as well. Other features offered by the program include general recording options (recording duration, mute system sounds, auto pause, and others), mini-mode recording, and GraceNote database support.
