Artlantis is a 3D rendering program developed by Abvent. It is specifically designed to help designers and architects for creating high-res 3D renderings, QuickTime VR objects, iVisit 3D Panoramas, and animations. The program is available in two editions – Artlantis Render and Artlantis Studio. Artlantis Render is mostly used for creating high-quality rendering images while Artlantis Studio is ideal for those who want high quality images as well as iVisit 3D Panoramas, animations, and QuickTime VR Objects.
Available features offered by Artlantis include the following:
• ISO/Shutter Speed – Aside from the automatic lighting adjustment, the program also offers an ISO/Shutter Speed feature. The Shutter Speed refers to the duration the aperture remains open while the ISO refers to the camera film’s sensitivity. Using this feature gives users the ability to obtain better color quality.
• HDRi Background – This feature allows users to obtain a spherical background, overall illumination, and 360 reflections of an image.
• Maxwell Render Engine – The program gives users an option to utilize Maxwell Render Engine aside from the 3D rendering engine used by Abvent. This engine is complete with postcards and specific shaders.
• Quality Features – The application offers several quality and performance changes. Quality enhancements include Tone correction used for lightening dark images and the Fresnel Shader ideal for metallic car bodies.
