The Punisher

The Punisher is a third-person shooter video game based on the Marvel character, The Punisher. It was first released in 2005. In the game, players assume the role of Frank ‘The Punisher’ Castle. He is determined to get rid of all evildoers roaming the streets. Players are free to explore the game world. The game focuses on stealth tactics and combat. There are several locations in the game deemed as hot spots. These locations allow The Punisher to interrogate the enemy. There are several punishments the player can use to get relevant information that helps in completing a mission. Additionally, there are more than a hundred types of kills to perform on enemies. Other main characters featured in the game aside from The Punisher are:

• Jigsaw – The nemesis of Punisher. In the game, he is known as John Saint, the son of The Punisher’s rival in the movie version of The Punisher.
• Martin Soap – Martin Soap, a detective, is The Punisher’s friend. He is the one who helps him get out of prison.
• Joan – Joan is Punisher’s neighbor and is used by Punisher’s rival as a hostage.

Other Marvel characters, such as The Kingpin, the Black Widow, Nick Fury, and Iron Man also appear in the game.
