Peachtree Key is a password recovery application that is capable of retrieving passwords from Peachtree Complete Accounting files. The software makes use of an advanced technology that recovers passwords right away. It can retrieve passwords of Peachtree Complete Accounting versions 2002 to 2010. The application is easy to use as it supports the drag and drop feature. Users just need to drag a file to the application’s interface to get the password.
The Peachtree Key program has a main window similar to that of Windows Explorer. The menu bar consists of three menus – File, View, and Help. The command buttons (Back, Forward, Start Page, Save Results, and Print) are located just under the menu bar. Once a file is dropped to the window, the program displays the passwords. The left pane shows the progress of recovery (number of passwords found in the file, the total time elapsed, and the estimated completion time). The right side of the window displays all recovered passwords including the file name, type of protection used (PeachTree 2002-2006), and the complexity of the password. Users can also view the list of passwords recovered by clicking on the ‘Log’ tab located at the bottom of the main window.
