Florensia

Florensia is a free-to-play fantasy Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game developed by Alaplaya and made available online on October 2008. The game is set in a fantasy world comprised of a vast ocean littered with numerous islands. The player kicks off his adventures from Roxbury by choosing one of four character classes. There are actually 12 character classes but initially, the player is given a choice between Mercenary, Explorer, Saint, or Noble. Gameplay involves forming a party or a guild, sailing across oceans, and fighting against enemies.

Florensia starts off with several tutorial quests to prepare the player for the real game quests. The player builds his own ship by salvaging production materials from old ones.  Once done, the player can sail the ocean and discover new islands to explore. The player can choose to sail with friends or travel alone. New islands mean new treasures and new friends to meet. However, the player may also encounter enemies when exploring new territories.

Florensia offers several game areas including War Zones and Free Battle Zones. It even boasts of a war tower comprising of 100 floors. Florensia is also a witness to the Harbor Occupation War. This war entails battling against enemy guilds, whole war parties, or just single opponents. This game also features Boss Monsters to be defeated for the player to upgrade to new levels.
