Language Reader

Language Reader is a speech software that provides the user with text-to-speech audio. The user can type in words, sentences, and paragraphs in the interface window and the program automatically reads out loud in a synthesized voice for the user to hear. It features multilingual voices for the user to choose from to voice out the written texts.

Language Reader features text reading for words, phrases, sentences, paragraphs, and documents with Text-to-Speech technology. American and British English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Russian are available languages. The application can read document formats like PDF, Word, Excel, Text, PowerPoint, and HTML. A built-in editor allows the user to edit texts for the application to read aloud.

The interface has virtual cartoon characters as guides to help the user. The user can choose from English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch as the interface language. The interface features a large input window in which texts, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs may be placed to be read aloud by the application. The user has the option to highlight words, sentences, or paragraphs to be read aloud and repeated. To hear the words spoken, the user can click the speaker button on the interface. The interface features a menu tool bar to edit, save, or open document files.
