Arkanoid 4000

Alawar Entertainment (Shareware)

Arkanoid 4000 is a classic ball-and-paddle game developed by Alawar Entertainment. It was released in October 2010. The gameplay may be classic, but the environment is futuristically-themed. The gaming environment is set in a moving frame with the paddle located at the bottom of the screen, and the ball bouncing off blocks arranged within the frame. Blocks are of different colors such as red, blue, green, and yellow. The ball that bounces off the paddle can be a regular ball or a flame ball.

Arkanoid 4000 features 3D game elements and environments. It also features the ability to change the game speed as the game progresses. Another added feature that appends the game difficulty comes in the form of several balls appearing at the same time. The Arkanoid 4000 game interface features a small square frame where the blocks, the paddle, and the ball are located. The right panel next to the game frame displays the current score, current level, and the number of lives remaining. The available lives are shown as balls. When the ball is not bounced off the paddle and instead touches the floor, the player loses a life and the ball is replaced. The game features several levels divided into episodes or chapters.
