Stereoscopic Player is a 3D movie player. It is capable of playing stereoscopic videos and is capable of playing almost any media format. This is because the program is based on DirectShow. It supports file formats, such as AVI, WMV, ASF, MOV, MPEG, and many more. Once a stereoscopic video is launched with the application, the user must select the encoder used and the format for viewing the video. This is only required the first time the video is opened with the application. It remembers and saves the settings for each video that is played.
The Stereoscopic Player program is available in four editions: Unregistered, Private, Commercial, and Cinema. Customized versions of the application are available, too. The program cannot be used to view regular DVDs in 3D. However, 2D videos can be played with the application in 2D.
Users have the option to change the general settings of the application including the language, viewing method, decoders, and many more. Advanced computer users can make some changes to the program as it has command line support.
Other features of the Stereoscopic Player include the following:
• Playback of SSIF files from 3D Blu-ray discs
• Support for multi-viewer and single-viewer autostereoscopic displays
• GPU-accelerated video decoding
• Live playback from capture devices
• Built-in video library
