Preschool Sparkle Star Rescue

Preschool Sparkle Star Rescue an animated educational game developed by The Learning Company that caters to children in the ages of three to five years. It is part of a series that revolves around the adventures of Reader Rabbit and his friend, Sam the Lion. The object of the game is to recover all of the lost stars in the sky by going to a place called Sparkalot and restoring peace and order there. There are six main activities, which the player has to complete in order to bring back the sparkle that the objects in Sparkalot once had. Each activity requires the player to exercise his/her skills in spelling, reading and comprehension, and counting in order to obtain special gemstones.

There is no set order for the activities, so the player may choose which one with which to start. There is a guide map that enables the player to easily move on to the next activity. Every time the player completes and activity, elements of the story are revealed. If the player gives a wrong answer, one of the characters provides some information that will lead him/her to the correct answer on the next attempt. Preschool Sparkle Star Rescue offers three levels of difficulty that automatically adjusts according to the player’s skill level.
