Movavi Video Editor 6 is a video editing program developed by Movavi. It enables users to create, edit, convert, and capture videos with ease. To start the process, the user must place the video file on the hard drive or external storage device. The user interface is very simple – it features a dark gray theme and a screen that is divided into three main parts. The upper left portion of the screen is devoted to the video player, and is also the largest area. Right next to it is the tabbed control panel wherein the user can apply various effects and add text to the video. The bottom part makes up the work bar, which shows open files.

Movavi Video Editor 6 also features a splitting program that allows users to slice videos into multiple scenes and change their order according to preference. There is a ‘Like’ button, which the user must click on to keep the scenes that will be retained, and a ‘Dislike’ button to eliminate irrelevant scenes. The ‘Likes’ scenes can be combined on the timeline and enhanced with any of the creative fade effects on the menu. The resulting video can be saved in a variety of formats, which includes AVI, FLV, MP4, and QuickTime.
