VideoThang™

VideoThang is a video editing program developed by the company VideoThang LLC. It enables users to create videos by importing image, video, and audio files from the computer hard drive, webcam, or online accounts like Facebook, Photobucket, and Picasa. It supports a host of image and video file formats, which includes AVI, MOV, MP4, MPG, PNG, FLV, and WMV among others. Users can also add effects such as black and white, sepia, and negative to their imported images, as well add captions to them. The resulting video can also be cropped and zoomed according to the users preferences.

VideoThang allows the user to incorporate an imported audio file into the video to give it a soundtrack. The volume can be adjusted and titles may be added as well. The program also provides some transition options like cross fade, fade in, and fade out. Once the mix is completed, the user can preview the result and save it in case of re-editing. The interface is simple enough to navigate easily, although first-time users can be guided by a detailed help file in the program. The top menu includes action buttons for creating a new mix, opening an existing mix, and saving a mix. The screen is divided into three main areas for raw files, editing activities, and finished products.
