nEO iMAGING is a photo editing application from China. The program provides simple editing tools that can be used to come up with professional images from digital photos. The program supports over 30 common image formats (PSD, JPG, GIF, TIF, PNG, etc.), and also supports RAW formats from popular camera models from Fuji, Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Konica, and Olympus. The software offers three photo viewing modes: slide show with configurable timing, full screen view, and auto rotation.

nEO iMAGING has a quick editing feature for beginners. Quick editing tools include crop, rotate, and resize. There are also quick adjustment tools for changing the brightness, contrast, color, and saturation. Other basic editing tools include sharpen, blur, and invert. The program displays information about the photo, too (camera model, date and time stamp, parameters, etc.).

In addition to basic functions, the software also offers advanced tools for editing. Some of these are auto exposure, spot meter, and one touch white balance. Digital photos can also be manipulated with the effects that come with the program. Some of these effects are:

• Slide film – resembles traditional slide film colors
• Cross processing – resembles cross processing chemical development
• Soft focus lens – resembles dreamy soft focus lens
• Yellow filter – resembles color of vintage photos
• Sunset render – resembles high saturation photos

Users can customize settings and edit photos by batch to save time.
