Stone Screen Recorder is an application used for recording videos and audio tracks of the computer’s desktop. The program can be used for creating tutorials, demonstrations, and presentations. Users have the option to record the entire desktop screen or just an active window. It supports output for different file formats including MP4, FLV, WMV, and AVI.

The application has a simple user interface where settings for recording can be changed. Under General Settings, users can change the temporary location and the output folder for the recording. Users can also set hot keys for starting and stopping the recording process. For users who want to record gameplay while playing computer games, there is an option to record DirectX or DirectShow applications. On the Record Settings area, users can choose the record area (full screen or window), and the record format. There are also options for the output size and file location. There is a checkbox for recording audio from the computer’s microphone as well.
