Canon Utilities 360 Viewer is a program used to create panoramic views out of a collection of images or graphic files. This program builds the panorama by mixing related pictures in horizontal and vertical arrangement to come up with a panoramic view consisting of several sections of the actual image.
If enough pictures of an object is taken, the user can create a 360-degree wrap-around image that shows the object from different focus points and angles. Aside from scanned and uploaded pictures, the software can put together scanned documents, enlarged images, and the like, to produce a single and complete high-precision version of the original object. Users have to make sure that the selected images have common or overlapping sections or borders that would allows these to be seamlessly “connected.”
The application is designed to combine more than 20 photos into a single view, either horizontally or vertically. The process is doable in a few steps using the software’s interface. First, the user needs to select the photos and images to be merged. The pictures may be arranged according to the preferred order by switching, rotating, enlarging or reducing them whenever necessary. Next, users can edit images to make sure that overlapping areas are properly positioned. The focal length settings can also be modified. The final step is to merge the images by pressing the start option. Editing can still be done at this point. The created panorama may be saved and printed.
